Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using YFetch (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over (or 16 in the EEA, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use YFetch with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed at children.

3. Permitted use

You may use YFetch to process content that you own or are licensed to use — including your own recordings, dictated speech, files you have rights to, and public-domain or Creative Commons material. You are responsible for the content you upload, dictate, or generate.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to use YFetch, and not to permit anyone else to use YFetch, to create, process, distribute, or facilitate any of the following:

  • Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
  • Cloning, impersonating, or generating speech in the voice of any real person without their verifiable consent.
  • Non-consensual sexual content, sexualisation of minors, or any child sexual abuse material.
  • Content that harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence against any person or group.
  • Hate speech or content promoting discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
  • Deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content, including deepfakes intended to defraud, manipulate elections, or misrepresent facts.
  • Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities.
  • Instructions or content that facilitates illegal activity, terrorism, weapons manufacture, or the sale of regulated goods (drugs, firearms, etc.) to unauthorised parties.
  • Malware, phishing content, spam, or automated abuse of the Service (scraping, bots, denial-of-service, credential-stuffing).
  • Content that violates the terms of the platform on which you distribute it (including Amazon, Apple, Google, YouTube, Meta, or any other third-party store or service).

We may remove content and suspend access at any time if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.

5. Third-party platforms and store policies

If you publish YFetch outputs to a third-party platform, marketplace, or app store (including but not limited to Amazon marketplaces, Amazon Kindle, Amazon Music, ACX/Audible, Apple, Google Play, YouTube, or TikTok), you are solely responsible for complying with that platform's content, disclosure, and quality policies — including any requirement to disclose AI-generated or synthetic media. YFetch is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any such platform.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you upload or dictate. Subject to applicable law and the terms of our upstream AI providers, you own the outputs you generate through the Service, provided you have the rights to the inputs. YFetch and its logos, code, and design remain the property of YFetch.

7. AI outputs and accuracy

YFetch relies on third-party AI models. Outputs (transcripts, synthesized speech, sound effects) can contain errors, mishear speech, or produce unintended results. You are responsible for reviewing every output before publishing, broadcasting, or making commercial decisions based on it.

8. Free service and changes

The core tools on YFetch are provided free of charge. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we introduce paid features, they will be clearly labelled before any charge is made.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YFetch and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YFetch and its affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent that mandatory consumer-protection laws apply, and otherwise by the laws of the jurisdiction where YFetch is established. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
